GSIL sponsors Social Media 101 seminar

On July 28, 2009 Granite State Independent Living (GSIL) sponsored the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce’s Social Media Marketing 101 breakfast seminar. More than 200 local business owners attended this valuable, information packed seminar. The panel was comprised of Linda Fanaras, President/Strategist, Millennium Advertising along with Abigail Burton, Communications Manager, Millennium Advertising and Sara K. Adams, CEO, ska works and Ric Waldman, Director of Programming and Audience Development, Capitol Center for the Arts. Susan Ware Flower, Communications Manager, GSIL, was the moderator.
Clyde Terry, CEO, GSIL, addressed the audience and requested that as this new media and technology emerges, no one get left behind. He reminded that individuals with disabilities can often be an afterthought (an example: as a society first we built sidewalks, then realized we needed curb cuts). Now is the time to get in front of this trend and make it accessible for all, said Terry.
