GSIL's Annual Meeting & Celebration a huge success!

GSIL’s Annual Meeting & Celebration was a huge success with 250 gathering at the main office in Concord, NH to reflect on the past year and look towards the future. Keynote speaker Nick Toumpas, Health and Human Services Commissioner joined GSIL consumers, staff and Board in the celebration.
Commissioner Toumpas discussed his vision for services and supports for individuals with disabilities in the state.
“Winston Churchill once said that ‘the greatest mistake in leadership is to hold false hopes soon to be dashed by events.’ What that means to me is we need to begin with an honest discussion of where we are right now, what the key issues are, and then confront those and look for ways, innovative ways, in which to be able to do some things differently,” said Toumpas.
