Housing Program Team Receives Scholarships

GSIL is proud to announce that Sarah Denoncourt, Housing Program Manager, and Trisha Turschman, Housing Program Assistant, have been awarded full scholarships to attend the NeighborWorks® America Training Institute in Washington, DC, December 7 -11, 2009, which is required training for HUD Certified Housing Counseling Programs.
Trisha received a scholarship from HUD to attend "Introduction to Housing Counseling" and "Credit Counseling for Maximum Results." Sarah’s scholarship is from NeighborWorks® America and the Foreclosure Mitigation Program to attend "Home Equity Conversion Mortgages," "FHA-Insured Loans" and "Counseling Borrowers on REO Properties." Both scholarships cover tuition and lodging.
